Harrison Road to be closed

According to the Hampshire Chronicle, when Harrison School starts its new year in September Harrison Road will be closed to traffic at the start and end of each school day. This is part of an experimental attempt to improve air quality and encourage more people to walk or cycle.
We are concerned that this could cause more parents to drive down William Price Gardens to drop off their children. If this occurs then we will take actions, including:
Photographing offending vehicles
Asking the school to write to parents
Reporting the problem to Fareham Borough Council
There is already a parking restriction on the estate during the school drop-off and pick-up times, so if there is a problem it can be solved by enforcing the existing rules. Parents will still be able to park in the Leisure Centre and walk their children down William Price Gardens.
