Victory! Daniells Harrison to take over management

FirstPort will hand over the management of the Prices Lodge Estate to Amanda Rickwood of Daniells Harrison on 5th October 2018.

Its been a long fight: our first complaint about the excess fees was in August 2016. We are still demanding that Hodings & Management (Solitaire) Ltd refund the excess fees since then to the residents. The exact amount is still to be determined, but it will be somewhere in the region of £3,000 to £4,000 for the whole estate.

As well as the reduction in fees we should also see a significant up-tick in service. FirstPort have not sent anyone to the estate since last November. In contrast, Amanda has already arranged a meeting with tree specialist to discuss the state of the trees on the estate, even though they haven't taken over yet.
