New Management Company

As I have written previously, the Committee has been trying to get FirstPort replaced as the managing agents for the estate. After some prodding we convinced the landowner, Holdings & Management (Solitaire) Ltd, to invite tenders from other companies. They in turn appointed Estates & Management Ltd as their agents to carry out this exercise (you will recognise the name Estates & Management: they are the company we pay the £5/year fixed rentcharge to).

After some more back and forth and quite a lot of progress chasing we have got Estates & Management to agree to appoint Daniells Harrison as the new managing agents. Although they were not the cheapest bid, the committee felt that the benefit of having a local Fareham company appointed was worth the slight additional cost.

Estates & Management are now sorting out the final contract with Daniells Harrison, and we hope that they will take over shortly.
