Annual General Meeting

In accordance with the constitution the Annual General Meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday 12th September at Harrison School (NOT the 19th as previously posted). Please put this in your diary; it is your association, and this is your chance to have a say in how it is run.

The agenda for the AGM is as follows:

  1. Agree the minutes of the last AGM and to deal with matters arising therefrom.

  2. The Chairman’s annual report.

  3. The Treasurer’s annual report.

  4. Questions from the floor to be taken by the Chair.

  5. Elections of an Honorary Chairman, Vice-chairman, Secretary and Treasurer and up to 6 committee members.

  6. Debate any proposals submitted (see below)

  7. Set the annual rate of subscription.

If you wish to put a proposal to the AGM then you need to submit the written proposal at least 3 weeks before the meeting (i.e. by 29th August). The proposal must be signed by the proposer and a seconder (who must of course both be members of the Association).
